the ask
Bring an iconic German brand born in the 50s, that is rooted in functional design, into the modern world with a fresh take on it’s visuals and tone. We were tasked with injecting Braun (Female) with the attitude and refined aesthetic that it’s client base identified with.
Visual direction
Drawing inspiration from Braun’s strong Bauhaus design heritage, we aimed to bring more elevated beauty visuals to the brand’s Visual Identity. Elements such as the circle – iconic in Bauhaus design (and in the products themselves) – were emulated across different touch points. Braun’s line of women’s products included a series of luxury epilation devices as well as a modern hair styling device.
